What an incredible wedding day it was! Sara and Zach’s charming fiesta-inspired wedding was a day full of so many joyful moments, blending southern charm with vibrant Cinco de Mayo colors. Set against the the beautiful backdrop of Old Homestead Farm, with its gorgeous oak trees draped in Spanish moss, their special day was nothing short of perfect.
The day began with scattered rain showers, but as luck would have it, the skies cleared just in time for the festivities. I started the day with one of my favorite wedding details: flat lays. These arrangements of the couple’s personal items and wedding invites set the creative tone, allowing me to capture the essence of their story.
Before The Ceremony
Sara and Zach opted for a private first touch, where they exchanged their vows. This intimate moment allowed them to connect and share their excitement for the day ahead.
The ceremony itself was uniquely arranged in a circular setup, creating a intimate setup among their closest family and friends. As part of the ceremony, they planted a tree together, symbolizing the strong foundation of their marriage and the deep roots they will grow together.
One of my new favorite moments that Sara and Zach added into their day was after the “I Do’s,” when Sara and Zach popped a bottle of champagne and personally served it to their guests. This gesture not only gave them a chance to mingle with everyone but also created some of the most fun and beautiful photos of the day.
For their newlywed portraits, the horses that were on the property joined in the photoshoot, adding a touch of southern charm and joy to the session. Sara, Zach and I couldn’t resist spending extra time petting and admiring these beautiful horses throughout the day!
Headed Into The Reception
Reception kicked off with the rest of Sara and Zach’s guest arriving to Old Homestead Farm. Guests were greeted with a beautifully decorated space featuring mix-and-match china, colorful glasses, vibrant candles, and a amazing taco bar. The fiesta theme continued to inspire the guests to celebrate and dance the night away, making it a night to remember.
Sara and Zach’s charming fiesta-inspired wedding was a perfect blend of personal touches, heartfelt moments, and joyous celebrations. It was an honor to document their wedding day. A big shoutout to all the amazing vendors that made Sara and Zach’s day come together!
