Allison and Hunter’s Summer wedding at The County Line Bluegrass Barn in Wilson, NC, was the perfect blend of warmth, love, and joy—both literally and figuratively! It was one of those hot summer days in August, but the heat didn’t deter this couple from having the most relaxed and heartwarming celebration!
The day started with capturing the beautiful details of the day. Allison’s elegant gown, her something blue shoes, and the delicate florals set the tone for the celebration. As the morning unfolded, Allison got ready with the help of her mom. This is always one of my favorite moments to photograph.
One of the most special parts of the day was Allison’s series of first looks. She first shared this emotional moment with her bridesmaids, who couldn’t contain their excitement. Next up was her brother—Allison got a little emotional as she shared this moment with her brother. Finally, she had her first look with her dad, and I loved how they chatted about his morning wearing his superman tee while setting up the ceremony sight on the hot summer day. Watching everyone gush over how stunning Allison looked was such a sweet part of the day.
Meanwhile, Hunter and his groomsmen were making the most of the summer heat. They were a fun bunch, keeping spirits high with lots of laughter. And to beat the heat, they made sure to enjoy some cold beers—it was the perfect way for them to stay cool and keep the mood light!
As the ceremony time drew closer, Allison and Hunter chose to share a first touch instead of a first look. They stood back-to-back, holding hands and sharing a quiet moment to speak to one another before the ceremony. It was a beautiful, intimate moment they were able to have right before they said their I Do’s.
One of the moments that I truly loved was when their officiant came to both Allison and Hunter individually before the ceremony to pray over their wedding rings. It was a quiet, spiritual moment that brought even more depth and meaning to the day, serving as a beautiful reminder of the significance of the vows they were about to exchange.
The ceremony itself was incredibly sweet and emotional. As Hunter turned around to see Allison walking toward him, you could see the emotion in his eyes. It was one of those moments that makes all the planning and waiting so worth it.
When they were finally pronounced husband and wife, their guests celebrated their grand exit with a burst of colorful confetti! It was such a fun and joyous way to mark the beginning of their new life together.
We got to slow down a bit during the newly wed portraits. Before we started, we grabbed the new Mr. & Mrs. Robinson some nice cold beers because it was still pretty hot outside. I love this time during newly wed portraits because the couple has some down time to wrapped in each other’s arms (not to mention their own paparazzi team around them lol) it’s always such a fun time!
The rest of the evening was filled with laughter, dancing, and everyone simply enjoying each other’s company. The relaxed vibe of the day continued into the night, with guests hanging out, mingling, and hitting the dance floor to celebrate the newlyweds.
Allison and Hunter’s wedding was a true reflection of their love—warm, genuine, and filled with joy. It was an honor to capture every moment of their special day at The County Line Bluegrass Barn, and I wish them a lifetime of happiness and love!
