Senior Session in Wilmington, NC | Ansley’s Senior Session

This senior session was so special to me because it was my younger sister’s senior session, but it was also my first official senior session. I loved working one-on-one with my sis Ansley. From making her feel confident in front of the camera to making her giggle a lot with my crazy prompts it was truly a blast!

Ansley was a natural during her senior session and not trying to be biased just because she’s my little sis. She ROCKED her senior session!! Ansley wanted to start her senior portraits at Laney High School here in Wilmington, NC. I loved how she really wanted her senior portraits to connect with her high school, where she will soon be tossing her grad cap in the air.

Our next location for Ansley’s senior portraits was downtown Wilmington, NC. Downtown Wilmington is one of my favorites to have sessions at because of the vibes it offers. You get a mix of coastal, urban and southern chic from everywhere you turn.

It may not look like it, but we were in 40 degree weather with the wind blowing against us. Ansley braced the cold weather like a champ! It was really special for me to capture these moments for Ansley. I can’t wait to see what your next chapter holds… GO App State!
