Alexandria and Owen are one of the most adorable couples I have met. We were all connected through our weekly community church group in Burgaw, North Carolina. Which is the same place Alexandria and Owen’s story starts as well.

Through a couple of years they both attended the same community group in their hometown. Last fall their church went on a group trip up towards the mountains. As faith would have it, Owen and Alexandria got paired together in the back seat of the van for their five hour trip. Owen began to tell me this is when he knew he was going to ask Alexandria to be his girlfriend. Fun fact: their engagement session was the same week they went on their church trip in the mountains almost one year ago! Now they are about to start their forever journey as husband and wife

One of their favorite places to go together is Topsail Beach, North Carolina. It made it an even more special place for them to have their engagement portraits there.

They have already started working on all their wedding planning details. One of their top projects is their venue, which will be held at Alexandria’s grandparents property. Alexandria, Owen and their families have already started fixing up the barn and landscaping in preparation of their wedding. I always love when couples pick out details that bring in so much meaning. For Alexandria, her grandparents house holds a special place in her heart and she wants their property to be where her and Owen make their vows and start their forever.
