I heard you have an upcoming engagement session and you’re having trouble finding an outfit for you and your fiancé to wear. I’m excited our paths crossed because I have 3 outfit ideas for you and your fiancé!
As a photographer, I can also get a little overwhelmed finding the perfect outfit to wear. On top of finding something my husband would wear too. I focus on three things when putting together an outfit color, comfort and confidence.
Color
You don’t want to necessarily “match” with your fiancé. You want to try to wear different dominant colors, but stay similar in your color palette.
Comfort
An engagement session usually lasts an hour to two hours. I believe that not only can an outfit be stylish, but it can be comfortable too. This idea is big for the guys. You want your fiancé to have a good time during your engagement session. Picking an outfit that he loves and will be relaxed in is important.
Confidence
Choosing an outfit that flatters your form and colors that compliment your natural features is one the many ways you will feel confident. I always recommend looking into getting your hair and makeup done professionally. If I had a prep team for myself every day I would be living the life!
I live on the coast of NC right next to three pretty cool beaches, a trendy downtown area and lots of nature parks. These will be my three locations I will pair outfits with to help you and your fiance!
